Fall Must Haves!

The autumnal equinox happened this week on Tuesday, September 22nd. It occurs each September and marks the first day of Fall! To celebrate, I thought I’d do a post of some of my Fall Must Haves! These are just a few items I’m loving right now that I think are perfect Fall additions.

1. This sweater!!! If you follow me on instagram, you might see a few photos of me in it because I just love it! When I saw it, I had to get it. I really like that it has so many colors of Fall. It’s got the brown, but it also has that mustard, it’s got creamy yellow and a really rich warm pink/red. This sweater literally reminds of the leaves changing! 3. If you’ve been reading my posts or even listening to the Feel the Good Podcast, you’ll know that I’ve mentioned Feya before. 5. Fall is all about snuggling under a blanket and watching a good movie, am I right? What better movie to watch than You’ve Got Mail! It’s perfect because it starts out with New York City in the Fall and takes you all the way into the magical Christmas season. With Nora Ephron’s intelligent and witty writing along with Tom Hanks & Meg Ryan, one of the best romantic comedy duos of all time, it’s just all sorts of perfection. I do a re-watch of this movie a lot because it’s one of my favorites, but especially right when Fall begins. “Don’t you love New York in the Fall? It makes me want to buy school supplies. I would send you a bouquet of newly sharpened pencils if I knew your name and address.”

6. Fall is all about getting cozy. What better way than curling up with a good book either at home or on a park bench among the autumn leaves. I devoured this book in one sitting. That’s how good it is! This is the second book in the American Royals series. If you haven’t read the first, obviously start there, but you will love it. This series reimagines if America had actually had a monarchy. It’s so creative and it tells the story of 4 different female characters and their romances, their family and their royal adventures. It’s delicious escapism and a ton of fun.
